Consultant Pathologist Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Consultant Pathologist with Western training or education to support advanced diagnostic services in one of Riyadh’s premier healthcare institutions.  

Position Overview  
This role requires expertise in pathology, diagnostic procedures, and laboratory management to ensure accurate, timely diagnoses while upholding the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pathology, research, and medical advancements in the field.  

Key Responsibilities  
- Perform comprehensive pathological examinations, including histopathology, cytopathology, and autopsy evaluations  
- Provide expert diagnostic support and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes  
- Conduct research to enhance pathology techniques and improve clinical protocols  
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations  
- Mentor and train junior staff, including technicians and residents, to maintain high-quality laboratory practices  
- Stay informed on advancements in pathology through conferences and continuing education  

Qualifications  
- Medical degree from an accredited Western institution with specialization in Pathology  
- Board certification in Pathology from a recognized body such as the American Board of Pathology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent  
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Consultant Pathologist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting  
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic techniques, laboratory management, and quality assurance protocols  
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information effectively  
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural medical environment  
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage but not required
