Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Pediatric Cardiology to join our team in Qatar. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care and treatment to children with heart diseases, as well as overseeing the management of pediatric cardiology services. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, and a passion for improving the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive and advanced care to pediatric patients with congenital or acquired heart diseases, including diagnosing, treating, and managing their conditions.

- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other pediatric specialists, nurses, and support staff.

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric cardiology and incorporate new treatment options and technologies into our services.

- Participate in research projects and ongoing clinical trials to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of pediatric cardiology.

- Oversee and supervise the work of junior physicians, residents, and fellows, providing guidance and feedback as needed.

- Collaborate with hospital administration to develop and implement policies and protocols related to pediatric cardiology services.

- Work closely with other departments to provide coordinated care for patients with complex or multifaceted medical conditions.

- Participate in continuing medical education activities and maintain relevant certifications and licensure.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution.

- Completion of a residency program in pediatrics.

- Board certification in pediatric cardiology.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric cardiology practice.

- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, including experience with echocardiography and other diagnostic tests.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

- A passion for improving the lives of children and their families through high-quality and compassionate care.

- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

- Must have received Western education or training.
