As a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, you will provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents with heart conditions. You will work closely with other members of our healthcare team to diagnose and treat a range of pediatric cardiac conditions through the use of advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. You will also play a vital role in educating and counseling families about the diagnosis and treatment of their child’s heart condition.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting a thorough clinical evaluation of patients with suspected or known heart conditions

- Performing diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, exercise stress testing, and cardiac catheterization

- Interpreting test results and making accurate diagnoses

- Prescribing and managing treatment plans for patients, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions

- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, surgeons, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and provide input on treatment plans

- Communicating and educating families of patients on their child’s condition, treatment options, and expected outcomes

- Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of pediatric cardiology

- Participating in research projects and publishing findings in medical journals to advance the knowledge and understanding of pediatric cardiac conditions

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Postgraduate specialization in Pediatric Cardiology

- Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pediatric Cardiologist

- Proven expertise in diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities for pediatric cardiac conditions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

- Must have received Western education or training.
