Consultant Pediatric Dentist - Abu Dhabi

🎯 Role Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Dentist to join a leading dental practice in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will specialize in delivering preventive and therapeutic dental care to children, ensuring a positive and reassuring experience for young patients and their families.
 

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and diagnose dental conditions in pediatric patients
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
• Perform restorative, preventive, and emergency dental procedures
• Administer fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive care
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene practices and dietary habits
• Monitor dental growth and development, including early orthodontic evaluations
• Collaborate with pediatricians, orthodontists, and other specialists for holistic care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DOH standards
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through CME and training

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
• Completion of an accredited residency in Pediatric Dentistry
• Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry (e.g., American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in pediatric dental care
• DOH license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Abu Dhabi
• Strong knowledge of child psychology and behavior management techniques
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an asset
