ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its pediatric endocrinology services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric environment alongside pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, dietitians, diabetes educators, radiologists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, supported by advanced diagnostic, laboratory, and treatment facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, growth disorders, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, puberty disorders, obesity, and metabolic bone diseases.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating medication, lifestyle interventions, growth monitoring, and long-term endocrine management.

• Interpret hormonal investigations, dynamic endocrine testing, imaging studies, growth assessments, and metabolic evaluations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

• Collaborate with pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric surgery, genetics, nephrology, ophthalmology, nutrition, and other specialties to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care.

• Provide education and counselling to patients and their families regarding disease management, insulin therapy, diabetes technology, growth concerns, and long-term follow-up.

• Maintain compliance with patient safety standards, clinical documentation, infection prevention measures, evidence-based guidelines, and international quality and clinical governance standards.

• Arab Board

• DM / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognized specialist qualification in Pediatric Endocrinology
