Consultant Pediatric ER

SearchPlus HR is a leading healthcare recruitment consultancy seeking a dedicated and dynamic Consultant Pediatric ER (Emergency Room) physician to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical care and rapid assessment for pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses and life-threatening conditions in an emergency setting.

Your expertise in pediatric emergency medicine will play a vital role in ensuring timely and effective care, ultimately improving health outcomes for children in emergency situations. You will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to pediatric patients in the emergency department
• Stabilize critically ill or injured children and coordinate emergency interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive emergency care
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies relevant to emergency care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures
• Provide education and support to families on preventive care and health management
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and training activities

• MD or equivalent medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics and additional training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Current medical license and board certification in Pediatrics, with subspecialty in Pediatric Emergency Medicine preferred
• Minimum of [X years] of experience working in a pediatric emergency department
• Strong clinical skills in emergency assessment and management of acute pediatric conditions
• Ability to perform life-saving procedures with confidence and competence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare providers
