Consultant Pediatric Hepatologist Dubai

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Consultant Pediatric Hepatologist  to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of pediatric liver and hepatology conditions.
• Manage children with acute and chronic liver diseases, including complex hepatology cases.
• Assess and manage conditions such as hepatitis, cholestatic liver disease, metabolic liver disorders, and other pediatric liver conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and management plans for pediatric patients.
• Provide specialist consultations and expert clinical opinions for complex cases.
• Work closely with pediatric gastroenterologists, surgeons, nutritionists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patients requiring long-term hepatology care and follow-up.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical discussions.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to established clinical protocols.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
• Support the training and mentoring of junior medical staff where required.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualifications in Pediatrics.
• Fellowship, subspecialty training, or equivalent recognized qualification in Pediatric Hepatology.
• Tier 1 / recognized Consultant-level qualification in accordance with UAE licensing requirements.
• Significant Consultant-level experience in Pediatric Hepatology.
• Strong expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex pediatric liver diseases.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare environment.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility for DHA/appropriate UAE medical licensure is preferred.
