Job Description:

As a Consultant Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized and comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart diseases. You will collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions using various interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including echocardiograms, catheterizations, and angiograms, to assess and diagnose cardiovascular conditions in pediatric patients.

- Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and balloon valvuloplasty to treat cardiovascular diseases in children.

- Provide pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing interventional procedures.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their specific needs and conditions.

- Communicate with patients and their families to educate them on their condition, treatment options, and disease management.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology.

- Attend and present at conferences, seminars, and educational events to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

- Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology.

- Expertise in performing a variety of interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and stenting.

- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology in pediatric patients.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Western education/training required.
