Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Pediatric Neurology to provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric neurology, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct physical examinations and diagnose and treat neurological disorders in pediatric patients

- Develop treatment plans and manage patient care

- Provide consultations and referrals to other specialists as needed

- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions and treatment options

- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Stay up-to-date with advances in pediatric neurology and incorporate new treatments and technologies into practice

- Participate in research projects and contribute to academic discussions within the field

- Train and supervise junior staff members, including residents and fellows

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Board certification in Pediatric Neurology

- Substantial experience in pediatric neurology, with a minimum of 5 years as a practicing physician

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to providing quality care and improving patient outcomes

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities

- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.

- Candidate must possess Western-style training.
