🧠 Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in scoliosis and spinal deformity management. The role involves delivering advanced, patient‑centered care to children and adolescents with complex orthopedic and spinal conditions, combining surgical excellence with multidisciplinary collaboration.
 

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric orthopedic conditions, with a strong focus on scoliosis and spinal deformities.
• Perform corrective spinal surgeries, including minimally invasive and advanced techniques.
• Provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead scoliosis screening programs and contribute to early detection initiatives.
• Educate families on treatment options, prognosis, and long‑term management strategies.
• Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and quality improvement programs.
• Contribute to teaching, mentoring junior doctors, and engaging in clinical research.
   

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical degree with fellowship/subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics / Spinal Surgery.
• Board certification or equivalent in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• Proven expertise in scoliosis surgery and pediatric spinal deformity management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages an advantage.
