Job Overview:

As a Consultant Pediatric Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized radiological services to pediatric patients. You will work closely with our team of expert physicians to accurately diagnose and treat various medical conditions in children using state-of-the-art imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs on pediatric patients

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for young patients

• Providing expert guidance and recommendations to referring physicians based on the interpretation of radiological findings

• Supervising and training junior radiology staff

• Ensuring compliance with established radiology protocols and safety procedures

• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in pediatric radiology and implementing them in daily practice

• Participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives

• Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting all procedures performed

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution

• Post-graduate degree in Radiology or Diagnostic Imaging

• Board certification in Pediatric Radiology

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Radiologist

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and pathology

• Proficiency in using advanced imaging equipment and software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

• The candidate must have received Western training or education.
