ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its pediatric rheumatology, autoimmune, inflammatory disease, and musculoskeletal care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric environment alongside pediatricians, immunologists, orthopedists, dermatologists, nephrologists, ophthalmologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, supported by advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and manage pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, connective tissue disorders, vasculitis, lupus, inflammatory myopathies, and other immune-mediated diseases.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor therapies including DMARDs, biologics, immunosuppressive medications, and infusion treatments according to clinical guidelines.

• Perform comprehensive pediatric musculoskeletal assessments, joint evaluations, injections, and ultrasound-guided procedures where applicable within scope of practice.

• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialties including nephrology, dermatology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy to provide integrated patient care.

• Provide education and counselling to children and families regarding disease management, medication safety, lifestyle modifications, and long-term health outcomes.

• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, safety monitoring, evidence-based protocol development, and multidisciplinary case reviews.

• Australian FRACP (Pediatric Rheumatology)

• Arab Board

• DM / DNB / Fellowship / FCPS or equivalent recognized specialist qualification in Pediatric Rheumatology
