Job Description - Consultant Physician â Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery

We are currently looking for a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon for a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Supports hospital clinical governance policies and departmental initiatives.

â¢ Participates in peer review, performance improvement and multidisciplinary meetings.

â¢ Assists in ensuring appropriate medical coverage within the department.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents.

â¢ Perform paediatric orthopaedic surgeries including congenital deformities and trauma.

â¢ Provide treatment for scoliosis, limb deformities and developmental bone disorders.

â¢ Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists and paediatricians.

â¢ Supervise junior physicians and surgical trainees.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

â¢ Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)

â¢ Specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery

â¢ Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery preferred

â¢ TIER 1 Qualification as per Abu Dhabi PQR

â¢ Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience

â¢ Valid DOH License or eligibility
