Job Description - Consultant Physician â Paediatric Surgeon (Experience in Paediatric Trauma Surgery)

We are currently looking for a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon (with experience in Paediatric Trauma Surgery) for a leading healthcare organization in Al Ain.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Supports and adheres to all hospital departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.

â¢ Participates in the organizationâs performance management and peer review systems.

â¢ Ensures appropriate medical coverage within the division.

â¢ Attends divisional and multidisciplinary meetings as required.

â¢ Supports the reporting and investigation of clinical incidents.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Diagnose and treat surgical conditions affecting infants, children and adolescents.

â¢ Perform paediatric trauma surgeries and emergency surgical procedures.

â¢ Manage congenital anomalies, abdominal trauma and paediatric surgical emergencies.

â¢ Collaborate with paediatricians, intensivists and emergency physicians.

â¢ Supervise junior physicians and surgical staff

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

â¢ Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)

â¢ Specialization in Paediatric Surgery

â¢ Fellowship or significant experience in Paediatric Trauma Surgery

â¢ TIER 1 Qualification as per DOH PQR â American Board / Canadian Board / UK CCT or equivalent

â¢ Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience

â¢ Valid DOH License or Eligibility

WORK LOCATION â AL AIN
