Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant PICU for a prestigious Hospital Job Vacancy in Qatar. The selected candidate will join a team of dynamic and experienced healthcare professionals, providing specialized care for critically ill children in the state-of-the-art Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert medical care to critically ill children in the PICU, ensuring high quality and evidence-based treatment.

- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.

- Regularly assess and monitor the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

- Keep accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

- Educate and support patients and their families on the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of the child's condition.

- Participate in research, professional development, and learning activities to continuously enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution, with board certification in Pediatric Intensive Care.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant PICU, including experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the management of critically ill children.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

- Strong leadership abilities, with a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

- The candidate must have received Western training or education.
