Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Consultant Psychiatrist to enhance our mental health services. This role is pivotal in delivering quality psychiatric care through detailed assessments, diagnoses, and tailored treatment plans for patients experiencing mental health challenges. Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies, including therapy and medication management.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment pathways.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in psychiatry through continuous education and training.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.
• Current, valid medical license to practice in the state.
• A minimum of 5 years post-residency experience in psychiatric practice.
• Proficient in performing psychiatric assessments and designing effective treatment plans.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Dedication to upholding a high standard of patient care.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
