ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its comprehensive mental health services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult psychiatric disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pharmacological and psychological approaches.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, risk assessments, and crisis intervention where required.
• Collaborate with psychologists, primary care physicians, social workers, and other specialists to deliver integrated patient care.
• Provide guidance and support to patients and their families while promoting recovery-oriented and patient-centred care.
• Participate in clinical governance, multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education activities.
