Consultant /Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon

We are looking for a highly skilled professional dedicated to providing top-tier surgical care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures, developing individualized patient care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments of patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
• Diagnose gastrointestinal disorders and recommend appropriate treatment options, including surgical interventions.
• Perform a wide range of gastrointestinal surgical procedures with a focus on minimally invasive techniques.
• Oversee the pre-operative and post-operative care of patients to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide education and support for patients and their families regarding conditions and treatment processes.
• Engage in clinical research and stay updated with the latest advancements in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Maintain compliant and accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions.

• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in General Surgery and Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Active and valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Expertise in advanced surgical techniques, particularly minimally invasive procedures.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a comprehensive understanding of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with patients and families.
• A collaborative approach to working in a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
• Commitment to continuous education and professional development in the field.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
