Consultant /Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant/Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing surgical treatments for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, utilizing cutting-edge techniques to deliver excellent patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with gastrointestinal conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Perform a wide range of gastrointestinal surgeries including minimally invasive and complex procedures.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care in coordination with multidisciplinary medical teams.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance to patients and families regarding surgical options and recovery.
• Engage in clinical research and continuous professional development to stay abreast of advances in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain meticulous medical records.

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery.
• Licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in gastrointestinal surgery.
• Strong surgical skills with proficiency in minimally invasive techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
