Consultant/ Specialist Hand Surgeon

SearchPlus HR is seeking a skilled Consultant/Specialist Hand Surgeon to join our network of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced surgical care and treatment to patients with various hand and upper extremity conditions.

As a Consultant/Specialist Hand Surgeon, your primary duties will involve evaluating, diagnosing, and treating conditions such as fractures, nerve injuries, tendon injuries, and other hand-related ailments. You will develop personalized treatment plans, perform a range of surgical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and accurate diagnoses of hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Create individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs.
• Perform surgical procedures including arthroscopy, tendon repairs, and reconstructive surgeries.
• Utilize advanced surgical techniques and innovative technologies to enhance patient care.
• Work closely with physical and occupational therapists for comprehensive rehabilitation of patients.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in hand surgery through ongoing education and training.

• Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Hand Surgeon.
• Completion of residency in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Hand Surgery.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing various hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Extensive experience in performing a wide range of hand surgical procedures.
• Strong understanding of microsurgical techniques and reconstructive options.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
