Consultant /Specialist Ophthalmologist

As a Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist at SearchPlus HR, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating eye conditions and diseases. With your expertise in ophthalmology, you will provide specialized care to patients and contribute to improving their visual health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive eye examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as visual field tests, tonometry, and OCT scans
• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration
• Perform surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal transplantation
• Prescribe medications and provide non-surgical treatments, such as laser therapy and injections
• Monitor and manage complications associated with eye diseases and surgeries
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of ophthalmology through continuous learning and professional development

• Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions and diseases
• Expertise in performing ophthalmologic surgeries, such as cataract surgery and LASIK
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmology principles, practices, and treatment options
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex ophthalmological issues
