Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon - Dubai

Allocation Assist is seeking a highly qualified and experienced vitreoretinal ophthalmologist surgeon to join our client's team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retinal surgery and an excellent understanding of ophthalmologic conditions and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive retinal exams for patients and interpret diagnostic tests

- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for a wide range of ophthalmologic conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments

- Perform surgical procedures, such as vitrectomy, retinal laser surgery, and intravitreal injections

- Lead and direct a team of ophthalmology technicians, nurses, and support staff

- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements in retinal surgery and incorporate new techniques into practice

- Foster strong partnerships within the medical community and participate in clinical research and educational activities

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and adhere to all legal and ethical standards of care

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Board certification in ophthalmology, with subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Vitreoretinal Ophthalmologist Surgeon

- Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in using advanced ophthalmic equipment

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously

- The candidate must have received Western training or education
