Consultant/Specialist Brain Injury Medicine

SearchPlus HR is excited to announce a position for a Consultant/Specialist in Brain Injury Medicine. This role is integral to providing high-quality care for patients dealing with various brain injuries, both traumatic and acquired. As a Consultant/Specialist, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive evaluations, conducting diagnosis, and developing individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing your expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. This position also involves educating patients and their families about the nature of brain injuries and their management, advocating for their needs throughout the rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to accurately diagnose brain-related injuries.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding brain injury management.
• Remain current with the latest research and developments in brain injury medicine.

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with an active medical license.
• Completion of a residency in Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or a relevant specialty.
• Board certification or eligibility in Brain Injury Medicine or a related field.
• Experience in clinical practice focusing on diagnosing and treating brain injuries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
