Job Description - Consultant/Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon
SearchPlus HR is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Consultant/Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join our dedicated healthcare team. This pivotal role involves providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and surgical options for patients with disorders related to the colon, rectum, and anus.
As a Consultant/Specialist in Colon and Rectal Surgery, you will apply your extensive knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality patient care. You will assess patients, perform complex surgical procedures, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to ongoing advancements in colorectal health.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
Order and interpret various diagnostic tests, such as colonoscopies and imaging studies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including colectomy, rectal resection, and other advanced techniques.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes for patients.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding conditions and treatment options.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation for all patient interactions.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in colon and rectal surgery through continuous education.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all patient-related activities.
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and a valid license to practice medicine.
Completion of a residency program in General Surgery followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a range of colorectal conditions.
Strong surgical skills with proficiency in both open and minimally invasive procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective patient interactions.
Ability to work well within a collaborative and multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Dedication to continuous professional development and learning in the medical field.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Working Time is Full Time.
Salary is AED 45K TO AED 90K
Benefits are Good Monthly Salary + Incentives + Standard family benefits like accommodation, Air ticket, Medical insurance, and Education allowance.
