Consultant/Specialist GP/Transfusion Medicine

SearchPlus HR is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Consultant/Specialist in General Practice/Transfusion Medicine. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety within our healthcare team.

In this position, you will leverage your clinical expertise in transfusion medicine, supporting both patients and healthcare staff in achieving optimal outcomes. You will be responsible for directing blood transfusion services and managing complex clinical scenarios associated with transfusion therapy.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultations and assessments for patients requiring transfusion services.
• Oversee blood transfusion protocols, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Diagnose and manage complications arising from blood transfusion procedures.
• Advise healthcare professionals on best practices regarding the use of blood products.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including laboratory specialists, nurses, and physicians.
• Enhance the knowledge of transfusion medicine among staff through education and training.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transfusion practices and patient outcomes.
• Participate in research efforts to advance the field of transfusion medicine.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with an active medical license.
• Completion of residency training in General Practice or Transfusion Medicine.
• Board certification in General Practice and Transfusion Medicine is preferred.
• Substantial experience in transfusion medicine and patient-related practices.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to manage complex cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork.
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational capabilities.

Working Time is Full Time.

Salary is AED 45K TO AED 83K
