Consultant/Specialist Orthodontist

Your role will involve diagnosing dental and facial irregularities, formulating individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective orthodontic strategies. You will engage with a diverse patient population, providing guidance and support while utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and technologies in orthodontics.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough examinations and diagnostics to assess patients' orthodontic needs
• Create tailored treatment plans that meet the specific requirements of each patient
• Apply and adjust various orthodontic appliances including braces and aligners
• Monitor patient progress throughout treatment and make necessary modifications
• Provide education on maintaining oral hygiene and the importance of adherence to treatment
• Collaborate with dental professionals to offer comprehensive care
• Keep current with the latest trends and advancements in orthodontic practices
• Document all patient interactions accurately to maintain up-to-date records
• Adhere to safety protocols and professional standards within the practice

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a specialized orthodontic residency program
• Board certification in orthodontics preferred or eligibility for certification
• Experience in orthodontic treatment planning and application of appliances
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on patient communication
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
