Consultant/Specialist Pediatric ER

SearchPlus HR is looking for a dedicated Consultant/Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join our exceptional medical team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality, immediate care to pediatric patients who present with acute medical conditions and traumatic injuries.

Your responsibilities will include performing thorough evaluations, diagnosing health issues, and implementing effective treatment strategies tailored to the unique needs of children. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that each young patient receives timely and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients in emergency situations.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute medical and surgical emergencies in children.
• Perform necessary medical procedures following established protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

• Medical degree with completion of residency in Pediatrics; fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Relevant experience in a pediatric emergency department setting.
• In-depth knowledge of pediatric emergency care protocols, procedures, and treatment guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations and make timely decisions.
• Commitment to best practices in patient safety and quality of care.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
