As a Content Writer/ Social media specialist reporting directly to the Manager Marketing, the role is essential in crafting engaging and compelling content that aligns with the overall marketing strategy. Content Writer will contribute to the creation of various content types, from blog posts to social media content, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand voice.
Responsibilities
i. Content Strategy and Planning
a. Develop and maintain a content calendar that outlines the content creation schedule, topics, and publication dates.
b. Conduct thorough research to understand our target audience, their preferences, pain points, and interests.
c. Collaborate with the marketing manager to define a content strategy that aligns with overall marketing goals and objectives.
ii. Content Creation
a. Develop and SEO-optimized content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, press releases and marketing collateral.
b. Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages.
c. Tailor content to suit different stages of the marketing funnel and various target audiences.
d. Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve content discoverability and search engine ranking. Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and style consistency.
iii. Content Optimization and Updating
a. Periodically review and update existing content to ensure its relevance and accuracy.
b. Conduct keyword research to identify new topics and opportunities for content creation.
iv. Brand Consistency
a. Ensure that all content aligns with our brand's tone, voice, and guidelines.
b. Maintain consistency in messaging across all content assets to reinforce our brand image.
v. Keyword Research
a. Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search engines and enhance online visibility.
b. Integrate relevant keywords seamlessly into content while maintaining natural language flow.
vi. Collaboration
a. Collaborate closely with the marketing team, including the marketing manager and graphic designers, to align content with broader marketing initiatives.
b. Be open to feedback and suggestions from team members to enhance the quality and impact of content.
vii. Professional Development
a. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing.
b. Continuously improve your content creation skills, including writing, editing, and SEO.
viii. Research
a. Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to stay informed and identify content opportunities.
