Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cook with direct experience working in a burger restaurant or burger-focused kitchen for one of our prestigious client (Restaurant) based in Abu Dhabi,UAE.

The candidate should be confident handling burger preparation from patty cooking through final assembly and should be comfortable operating the griddle/grill and fryer during busy service periods.

Direct burger restaurant experience will be prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook burgers according to approved recipes.
  
  


• Operate griddles and grills safely and efficiently.
  
  


• Cook and handle burger patties correctly.
  
  


• Assemble burgers according to recipes and presentation standards.
  
  


• Manage the burger station during service.
  
  


• Operate fryers and prepare sides.
  
  


• Complete mise en place before service.
  
  


• Follow recipes and portion standards consistently.
  
  


• Maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume periods.
  
  


• Monitor food quality and freshness.
  
  


• Maintain proper food storage and handling.
  
  


• Keep the workstation clean and organised.
  
  


• Follow food hygiene and safety standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Cook as a burger restaurant or burger-focused kitchen strongly preferred.
  
  


• Hands-on burger preparation and cooking experience.
  
  


• Experience using a griddle/grill.
  
  


• Knowledge of patty cooking and handling.
  
  


• Strong burger assembly skills.
  
  


• Experience operating fryers and preparing sides.
  
  


• Ability to manage a station independently.
  
  


• Comfortable working during high-volume service.
  
  


• Able to consistently follow recipes and portion standards.
  
  


• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
  
  


• Nepali and Sri Lankan candidates preferred.
