Eaton has approximately 96,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries.\n\nWe are currently looking for a DC BIM Technician Engineer to join Eaton\u2019s Data Centre Segment and support the development of high\u2011quality digital design solutions.\n\nIn this role, you will contribute to the creation and coordination of BIM models and workflows that enhance project execution, design accuracy, and collaboration across engineering teams. You will work closely with BIM Managers, Application Engineers, and Product Development teams, ensuring digital deliverables are aligned with Eaton\u2019s standards and best practices.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n \nBIM Model Development \u0026 Coordination:\n\n * Create and maintain accurate BIM models using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks \u0026 ACC.\n * Support the integration of Eaton products into BIM object libraries for data centre projects.\n * Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure models reflect current specifications and project requirements.\n * Assist in clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution across disciplines.\n\n\n\nDesign Support \u0026 Documentation\n\n * Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations from BIM models to support project documentation and client presentations.\n * Ensure all deliverables meet Eaton\u2019s BIM standards and project-specific requirements.\n * Maintain version control and documentation of BIM files throughout the project lifecycle.\n\n\n\nProcess Optimization \u0026 Digital Tools\n\n * Support the implementation of BIM workflows that improve design efficiency and collaboration.\n * Assist in testing and deploying new BIM tools and digital solutions tailored to data centre applications.\n * Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes by identifying opportunities for automation and standardization.\n\n\n\nQuality Assurance \u0026 Compliance\n\n * Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).\n * Support quality control efforts by flagging inconsistencies and coordinating corrections with relevant teams.\n * Ensure adherence to Eaton\u2019s governance framework and industry best practices.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor of Electrical/Mechanical engineering Degree, or a related technical field.\n * 2-3 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably in data centre or industrial projects.\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks is essential.
