Data Center Operation

We have Urgent requirement for Data Center Operation required for our client in Dubai ,UAE

Job Purpose

We are urgently looking for an experienced Data Center Operator / Technician to support day-to-day data center operations, monitoring, physical verification, equipment handling, documentation.

The resource will be responsible for maintaining operational visibility of the data center environment, monitoring BMS (Building Management System) alerts and parameters, performing physical checks, executing basic hands-on activities on IT/network equipment as instructed, and maintaining accurate operational records.

Key Responsibilities1. BMS Monitoring & Physical Verification

• Monitor BMS systems and associated alarms, alerts, and operational parameters.


• Perform regular physical verification of data center infrastructure and equipment.


• Conduct scheduled checks of equipment and report abnormalities, alarms, or deviations.


• Escalate incidents and operational issues to the relevant engineering/support teams.


• Maintain accurate records of observations, incidents, and corrective actions.

2. IT & Network Equipment Support

• Perform basic hands-on activities on computers, servers, network devices, and related IT infrastructure.


• Support equipment checks, power cycling, connectivity checks, cable verification, and other authorized operational activities.


• Follow approved technical instructions, SOPs, safety procedures, and change-management requirements.


• Coordinate with engineering teams during troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

3. Documentation & Operational Reporting

• Manage email communication and follow-ups related to daily data center activities.


• Maintain and update Excel-based operational logs, checklists, incident records, and activity reports.


• Ensure all activities, observations, incidents, and follow-ups are properly documented.


• Provide daily status updates to the designated engineering/operations team.

Working Schedule

• Days: 7 days a week


• Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM


• Shift Duration: 12 hours per day


• Requirement: Full-time onsite coverage

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience in Data Center Operations / IT Infrastructure / Facilities Monitoring.


• Basic understanding of BMS systems and data center infrastructure.


• Familiarity with computers, servers, networking equipment, and basic troubleshooting activities.


• Good knowledge of MS Excel, email communication, and operational documentation.


• Ability to follow technical instructions and established SOPs accurately.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report abnormalities.


• Good communication and coordination skills.


• Ability to work independently in a 24x7 operational environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a Data Center, NOC, IT Operations, Facilities Operations, or Critical Infrastructure environment.


• Exposure to BMS/DCIM monitoring systems.


• Experience working with structured operational checklists and maintenance logs.


• Experience supporting enterprise IT/network infrastructure is an advantage.
