PayrollAdministrator / Payroll Specialist -ADP
Theincumbent will be responsible for effectively and accuratelyprocessing complex biweekly payrolls in a high-volume payrolldepartment and will act as a resource to our facilities andinternal departments for payroll matters. They will ensure thatpayroll policies and procedures are followed in compliance withinternal and external audit requirements. This position will belocated in Langley, BC and will be in-officework.
Processbi-weekly payrolls for multiple facilities (union, non-union,salary) in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of eachpayroll.
Paycycle activities include but are not limitedto:
Activateand de-activate income and deduction codes requested byfacility
Verifypay perioddates
Auditthe hours/earnings/rates prior to uploading to the ADP PayrollSystem
Completeall required steps to process and postpayrolls
Reconcileand balancepayroll
Transmitpayroll tobank
Preparemanual cheques in compliance with established payroll approvalprocedures
Makeadjustments to vacation accumulators requested byfacility
Checkpayroll outcomes after adjustments are entered and payroll run iscompleted
Co-ordinateand process off-cycle payroll run (bonus, vacation,etc)
Processemployee terminations (severance, vacation pay,etc)
ProcessRecord of Employment; ensure the information reported isaccurate.
UploadROE on web on the regularbasis.
Respondto internal and external payroll inquiries, escalate wherenecessary
Assistfacilities with the processing of payrolldata
Processthird party remittances asrequired
Otherduties asassigned

Minimumof 1-2 years of payroll experience with solid systems and payrollknowledge
Workingknowledge of standard payroll practices, company policies, andESA

PCPor CPM preferred or inprogress
IntermediateExcel skill and other windowsapplications
