Job Description - Delivery Helper

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Helper to join our dynamic team in the Wholesale Trade/Import -Export industry. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of goods across our distribution network. As a Delivery Helper, you will play a key support role in the logistics chain, assisting drivers and supervisors in loading, unloading, and organizing shipments. This position offers a valuable entry point into the fast -paced world of import -export operations, providing hands -on experience in supply chain logistics, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and willingness to support team objectives will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our delivery operations and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and stacking.
  • Support delivery drivers with route preparation, documentation, and inventory checks prior to dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and warehouse storage areas.
  • Verify delivery lists and packages against manifests to prevent discrepancies.
  • Assist in the timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
  • Report damaged or missing items promptly to supervisors for resolution.
  • Help with inventory counting and stock organization during delivery cycles.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times during operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including polite communication and professional conduct.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
  • 0–1 year of experience in delivery, warehouse, or logistics support roles.
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg regularly.
  • Proficient in basic literacy and numeracy for reading delivery notes and counting items.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with warehouse or delivery environments; experience in wholesale trade or import -export is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of delivery documentation and labeling procedures.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional overtime.
  • Must possess a valid UAE driving license (if required for specific tasks).
