Job Description - Deputy Manager - Mechanical

Bachelor of Mechanical or ChemicalEngineering from reputed institute with minimum 20 years ofexperience in concept, detail design and commissioning/operation ofwater treatment plants.
Sound technicalknowledge of various water treatment processes/technologies such ascoagulation & flocculation, degasification/stripping,sedimentation/clarification, media filtration, membrane separation,ion exchange, thermal desalination, electro deionization (EDI),De-oxygenation, oil separation, biological treatment,etc.
Extensive experience working on Water andWastewater Treatment Packages including Raw Water Treatment,Potable Water Treatment , Remineralization/Demineralization System,Sea Water Treatment, Effluent Water Treatment Package, Oily WaterTreatment Package, API-TPI-Separator package, Induced Staticfloatation (ISF) /Induced Gas floatation (IGF) package, Oil RemovalFilter (ORF) / Walnut nut filter Package, Electro ChlorinationPackage, Spent Caustic Treatment Packages, Condensate PolishingUnit (CPU), Ozone Package, Produced Water Treatment (PWT), WasteWater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant(STP)
Shall be well versed with internationalcodes, best available technologies and various handbooks related towater treatment field.
Strong hold on waterchemistry
Good knowledge and experience ofadhering project specific HSE aspects and local regulatorycompliance across various regions
Candidate whocan analyse input/output requirements and prepare various treatmentschemes/sketches.
Prepare/review mechanicaldatasheets, specifications, inquiry requisition, Vendor offerevaluation, technical bid evaluation, Purchase Requisition andreview of Vendor documents,
Multi-disciplinarycore engineering and project management skills to manageengineering functions, supply chain, contract management, projectmanagement, suppliers, client, and siteteam.
Very good knowledge of proposalengineering work (cost estimation and estimation of inputs forother engineering and subcontractfunctions)
Erection and commissioning of Waterand Wastewater Treatment Plants
Problem solvingand analytical skills to manage trouble shooting at site related tomechanical or performance issues.
Flexible towork in office and site to deliver water treatment packages fromconcept to commissioning and till defect liability of given EPCproject.
