Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting and construction company to recruit a creative and technically capable Design Architect for their expanding portfolio of Civil, Residential, and Mixed-Use projects. This opportunity is ideal for a design-focused professional with experience in architectural planning, concept development, and project coordination within the contracting or construction industry. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative and functional designs while supporting project delivery from concept through execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural concepts, design presentations, and detailed design packages for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and 3D models in compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
- Coordinate with engineering, technical, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth project execution.
- Support material selection, façade development, and space planning activities.
- Assist in preparing design documentation, BOQs, and technical submissions.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, authority regulations, and client requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, internal design reviews, and coordination workshops.
- Review shop drawings and support technical clarifications during construction stages.
- Maintain design quality, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs Degree in Architecture or related field.
- 3â6 years of architectural design experience within contracting, construction, or consultancy environments.-
- Experience in Civil, Residential, and Mixed-Use projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, space planning, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related architectural software.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and authority approval processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
