Prepare safe, economical, and optimized designs for piling, shoring, and deep foundation systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable design standards.
Design bored piles, CFA piles, micropiles, shoring systems, retaining walls, anchors, diaphragm walls, secant piles, and ground improvement solutions.
Perform geotechnical and structural analysis for foundation systems, ensuring stability, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
Carry out slope stability, soil liquefaction, and soil improvement analyses for infrastructure and building projects.
Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering reports, and technical submissions for client and consultant approval.
Develop construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other engineering software.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues.
Review geotechnical investigation reports and recommend suitable foundation solutions based on site conditions.
Provide technical support during project execution and assist in resolving site-related engineering challenges.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards, UAE regulations, and project specifications.
Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize designs while maintaining safety, quality, and project requirements.
Maintain proper documentation of design calculations, revisions, and project records throughout the design process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is an advantage).
Minimum 04–08 years of experience in the design of piling, shoring, and deep foundation projects.
Proven experience in delivering optimized designs for piling, micropiles, shoring, slope stability, soil liquefaction, soil improvement, and foundation engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, structural design, and deep foundation systems.
Experience in preparing detailed design calculations, engineering reports, and shop drawings.
Proficiency in geotechnical and structural design software, including Plaxis2D/3D, ALLPILE, WALLAP, SLOPE, StoneC,NovoLIQ, S-Concrete,PROKON, ADSec, SCALE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, Tekla Tedds, and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with Authority’s, clients, consultants, and project teams.
Familiarity with UAE construction standards, design codes, and engineering practices.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
