Job Description - Digital Marketing & Content Intern

We are looking for a talented, motivated and creative Digital Marketing & Content Intern to join our Marketing team. As a member, you will work closely on the planning of all content and campaign activities across different digital channels (incl. Media, Amazon and Shopper Trade Marketing) to help prepare for new product launches and help execute integrated digital media campaigns across key Middle East, Turkey and Africa markets and channels.

You'll work closely with the Digital Marketing and eCommerce Manager to collaborate on creating and delivering product content, ensuring impactful PDP's (product detail pages) for the brand website and key online retailers, and providing the assets for digital performance media campaigns for multiple digital channels: display, and social.

The internship is designed to start as soon as possible, for a period of ideally 6 months with the possibility of an extension.

We're the Marketing department. Our team looks after the Brand, Campaign & Content Development, Social Media, and Digital Media. Together we make up a cross-disciplinary, international team working to deliver upon BISSELL's brand purpose, to help people enjoy happy, healthy homes, in the META market. We move in an agile way, take utmost pride in our work, and know how to make projects more interesting and fun.

IN THIS INTERNSHIP, YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Get hands on experience in the exciting world of content creation and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Work with our creative agencies to create, adapt and/or review assets including photography retouch, video adaptations and localizations, and other digital assets.
  • Revise and enhance website functionality by updating content, translating it into Arabic, managing backend content on Magento, organizing product listings, and implementing improvements to product naming.
  • Help to ensure that PDP's for key online retailers e.g., Amazon, noon, Mumzworld and more are created, analyzed and continuously optimized for performance.
  • Ensure all assets, product specifications etc. are deployed successfully, for easy access by other teams and our distributor partners and/or for syndication to online retail.
  • Liaise with the product marketing team to request materials or support for preparing assets, while making active use of the global asset management platform.
  • Proactively monitor brand communication trends, competitors' activations, best practices and share these with the team and relevant stakeholders, to continuously optimize approaches.
  • Take on ad hoc requests such as supporting with translations to Arabic create process documents, or alike.
  • Work with agencies, and internal teams from different markets across META.
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of eCommerce content across various online retailers, generate reports on accurate product listings and information, revise product naming, monitor content syndication, and guarantee A+ listings on all retail platforms.
  • Be part of the dynamic Marketing team, with exposure to a broader set of projects and activities, and connecting through team meetings, team events and daily interactions.
  • Work together with a team of professionals in a variety of fields and have exposure to the digital marketing and eCommerce operations.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • Availability of 40 hours weekly for ideally 6 months
  • Background in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • A passion for and affinity with communication: art, videography, copy, languages etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) experience

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple dynamic tasks
