Established in 2013 byRoyal Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid AlMaktoum VicePresident and Prime Minister of the United ArabEmirates and Ruler of Dubai the Foundation aims to foster alifelong love for allliterature.


Role

TheDigital Marketing Manager role is a pivotal position in theFoundations Marketing & Communications department. Workingclosely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and thewider Marcomms team and other departments including Programming andIT the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for allaspects of the Foundation and Festivals website from websitemanagement search engine optimization web analytics databasemanagement paid digital media and vendormanagement.


KeyResponsibilities

  • WebsiteManagement:
    • Working with internal stakeholdersto ensure the content is updated in a timelymanner.
    • Creating/resizing relevant digitalassets such as videos photos animations infographics charts andtables.
  • Search EngineOptimization:
    • Develop shortandlongterm SEOstrategy.
    • Research report and use search enginekeywords and trends.
    • Develop offpageoptimizationinitiatives.
  • WebAnalytics:
    • Develop and coordinate web marketingcampaigns.
    • Determine KPIs for campaign trackingand analysis.
    • Report data and insights fromcampaigns.
  • DatabaseManagement:
    • Ensure quality of customerdata.
    • Provide insights on customer data to helpmarketing team devise campaigns with highconversion.
  • Paid DigitalMedia:
    • Work with Editorial Managers and agencyto execute Paid Social Paid Programmatic and Paid Searchcampaigns.
  • VendorManagement:
    • Liasing with external agency and/orIT department to design a website and administer ticketingprocesses.
    • Interfacing with website supportagents internal and external to troubleshoot and resolveissues.

WhatWere LookingFor

Essential:

  • Bachelorsin Marketing Business or a relatedfield.
  • Certification in digitalmarketing.
  • Experience of 35 years in digitalmarketing.
  • Proficiency in WordPress or similarCMS.
  • Familiarity with frontend web technologieslike HTML CSS and JavaScript.
  • Understanding ofUI/UX design.
  • Proficiency with design toolsAdobe Figma or similar
  • Working knowledge ofwebsite analytics including but not limited toG4
  • Solid knowledge of social channels includingLinkedIn Twitter Meta and TikTok
  • Strong projectand time management skills
  • Team player with alearning mindset
  • Attention todetail

Desirable:

  • Certificationsin Project Management.
  • Previous experienceworking in a cultural and/or notforprofitenvironment.
  • Arabicspeaker.

Other RelevantInformation

As an integral part of the ELF Teamthis position participates fully in the production and execution ofFoundation events. This requires flexibility to be availableevenings and weekends and to work additional hours during peakhours with compensatory hours in lieu of time worked provided.Unless otherwise stated all staff are subject to a sixmonthprobationary period and annual performance review. The position isbased in the Emirates Literature Foundation office located in AlShindagha Dubai. Flexible working arrangements may be consideredfor the right candidate.
