Visa CEMEA Sourcing has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and results-driven Procurement leader to join CEMEA Sourcing Leadership Team and help us to lead the change, further develop and shape the regional function and become a strategic partner to the business. Role Summary
The role holder will be responsible for the functional and team leadership, end-to-end Category Management including Strategy and Planning, Governance, Strategic Sourcing, Key Suppliers, Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnership, ensuring end-to-end accountability for stakeholdersâ experience and contribution to building CEMEA Sourcing team positive brand.
Main Accountabilities
Lead and further develop the Marketing Category
Provide an overall functional leadership to and line management of the team
Act as Sourcing Business Partner to the Marketing team with end-to-end accountabilities, leading from the front and ensuring the back-end process efficiencies.
Lead strategic high-value, complex marketing sourcing events
Establish and effectively manage the relationships with key marketing agencies and contribute towards the strategic development of the regional digital marketing strategy
Support continues development of the team to meet growing business expectations
Ensure design and execution of Category strategies, plans and projects.
Deliver financial benefits, cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue contribution, and other added values to the business through innovation in Category approaches
Embed and deliver on CSR targets, Sustainability & Supplier Diversity
Drive continues improvements and digitalisation, working close with the business and colleagues in the regional and global teams
Contribute to the evolution and overall success of the Visa CEMEA Sourcing.
General Key Responsibilities
Understand business, Marketing strategy, plans and priorities
Know the spend, supplier landscape, leading practices, and opportunities.
Develop and align regional category strategic roadmap and sourcing plan (the pipeline).
Drive execution of powerful sourcing strategies, for financial benefits realisation
Work with Legal teams to build relevant contract templates library
Support business to optimize demand and specifications
Build and deploy Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL) and manage the Tail spend
Ensure that all projects (RFx) are developed and executed with regional and local countries engagement, following project methodology and governance
Hands-on lead large size sourcing initiatives (RFx) in collaboration with the business
Report on the Category and team progress and performance, using smart objectives and agreed key metrics.
Partner with the CEMEA Sourcing Leadership Team members and contribute to the transformation of the function, to meet current and future business requirements

This role offers a great opportunity to engage with large number of stakeholders and peers within the Sourcing community, to drive enhancements of the ways of working, delivering efficiencies, financial and other values to the business.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelorâs Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelorâs Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Educated to degree level with postgraduate procurement accreditation (MCIPS or MIIAPS)
Strong experience as Procurement Head Of Marketing or Marketing Category Lead, with advanced procurement and sourcing technical and analytical skills and strong knowledge of how good looks like, specifically in the marketing and communication arena.
Broad experience in all listed sub-categories, suppliers and market dynamics, business models, contract negotiations, implementation and supplier relationship management
Track record of Category Management deployment, generally and within Marketing, ability to train others
Experience from the sales/bid-support and vendor management is a plus
Project Leadership skills with experience in delivering large and complex Sourcing, Outsourcing and Managed Services projects.
Experience in working in complex, high and low maturity global and regional organizations
Excellent people management skills building collaborative and high performing teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrable influencing skills and senior stakeholder management, with credibility up to CxO level
Energy, pace and an impeccable track record of delivery
