Director, Sales plays a critical role in driving our company’s growth by formulating an executing an effective go-to-market to penetrate and grow the MEA market.
Responsibilities
- Winning new customer projects with financial institutions, ensuring the achievement of significant new revenue growth targets.
- Creating partnerships with SI’s, Management consultants, cloud providers and adjacent technology players.
- Engage and advise with regulators
- Be the face of audax in the region
- Thought leadership, speaking at regional forums and events
- Recruit a high performing team to support our growth in the region
- Day to day the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Manage the entire sales cycle
- Work closely with Head of Commercial in developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan to target and win new businesses within the banking sector.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client organisations to understand their pain points and present our compelling solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within target banks to drive sales and partnerships.
- Providing guidance and support to cross functional team including marketing, product development and customer success, to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop creative solutions for new bank partnerships
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports and progress updates to executive team
- Present to prospective banks: Value proposition, system demonstrations, manage technology workshops, and business case construction
- Partner with sales engineers, professional services, and marketing teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business , Finance, or a related field
- 1 0 + years of Sales and Partnerships / account management in financial technology/consulting space
- Proven track record of success in sales, specifically in the banking as a service space
- Strong network relationships within the banking industry in the MEA region
- Ability to work independently and as part of a bigger team (cross functions) to achieve business goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results that are aligned with business strategies and goals.
- Proficiency in presentation skills, CRM software and technically savvy in their jobs.
- Rigor, discipline and structure in all customer engagements and internal governance.
