Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting company in the UAE to recruit an experienced DLP Supervisor â Civil for post-handover and Defects Liability Period activities. The ideal candidate will have strong civil construction expertise with hands-on experience in identifying, coordinating, and closing defects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily civil repair and defect rectification activities during the DLP stage.
- Carry out site inspections to identify and evaluate civil and finishing-related defects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, maintenance teams, consultants, and engineering teams for timely completion of works.
- Supervise repairs involving waterproofing, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, and other civil finishes.
- Ensure all corrective works meet required quality, safety, and project specifications.
- Follow up on client/customer service requests and drive pending defects through to closure.
- Maintain updated defect trackers, inspection records, and completion documentation.
- Verify completed works through follow-up inspections before closing reported issues.
- Manage manpower deployment and monitor workforce productivity.
- Prepare regular progress updates covering completed, ongoing, and outstanding DLP works.
Requirements
- 10â20 years of experience in civil construction, building maintenance, facility management, or DLP operations.
- Strong knowledge of civil works, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, finishing, and repair activities.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, quality requirements, and site safety practices.
- Any educational qualification; a technical diploma, certification, or construction-related training is an advantage.
- Strong supervision, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
