Description:

A Document Controller is a professional who maintains organized and updated documents for a business using document management software, uploading or scanning paper documents, obtaining documents, and ensuring proper and secure storage.

Responsibilities:

• Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
• Distribute project-related copies to internal teams
• File documents in physical and digital records
• Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients
• Manage the flow of documentation within the project and organization
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
• Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed Draft and circulate Minutes of Meeting

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
• Experience in Security or Construction Projects
• Familiarity with project management
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
• Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
• Proficient typing and editing skills
