Job Title: Economist

We are seeking a motivated Economist to support macroeconomic research, market intelligence, and economic reporting across global markets.

This role is responsible for producing high-quality economic analysis, contributing to regular publications, and supporting internal stakeholders with data-driven insights. The successful candidate will monitor global economic developments, prepare forecasts, and assist in the delivery of thought leadership materials and strategic reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct macroeconomic research and analysis across key global markets
• Prepare economic reports, commentary, and regular publications
• Support the development of country outlooks, macro forecasts, and thematic research
• Monitor economic data releases and assess market implications
• Contribute to materials prepared for internal committees and senior management
• Assist in managing research databases, statistical tools, and external data subscriptions
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of research outputs
• Support ad hoc research requests and bespoke analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Market Research, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Economics preferred
• 10 years of relevant experience in an economic research function, preferably within a financial institution, consultancy, or research organization
• Proven experience writing macroeconomic reports and analytical publications
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with statistical tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to translate complex economic developments into clear, actionable insights
