ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are hiring an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer for a cutting-edge Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) project based in Abu Dhabi. Candidate must have strong marine domain experience and hands-on experience in Autopilot and low-level hardware integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop embedded firmware for USV platforms

- Work on Autopilot integration - ArduPilot / PX4

- Develop motor drivers, actuator control and propulsion system control

- Develop low-level sensor drivers - IMU, GPS, Compass, Sonar

- Interface microcontrollers with sensors, actuators and communication modules

- Debug, test and validate firmware on actual USV hardware in marine environment

- Collaborate with Autonomy, Perception and Hardware teams

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5+ years experience in Embedded Systems / Firmware Development

- Mandatory experience in Marine domain / USV / Autonomous Vessels / Drones / UAV / UGV

- Strong programming in C / C++

- Expertise in ArduPilot / PX4 autopilot stack

- Hands-on experience with Microcontrollers - STM32, ESP32, PIC, ARM

- Experience in Motor Drivers, ESC, Actuator Control, PWM, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C

- Knowledge of Sensor Integration - IMU, GPS, Compass, LiDAR, Radar

- B.E / M.E / http://M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or related field
