Emergency Medicine

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Emergency Medicine Physician for our distinguished client in the healthcare industry. As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and timely emergency medical care to patients in need.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and life-threatening injuries or illnesses

- Stabilize patients and provide necessary interventions in emergency situations

- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans and manage patient care

- Administer and prescribe medications according to established protocols

- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care

- Coordinate with emergency medical services and teams to ensure seamless patient transfers

- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

- Attend to urgent medical calls within the hospital and respond appropriately

- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in emergency medicine

- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options

Requirements:

- Valid and current medical license to practice in the state

- Board certification in Emergency Medicine

- Previous experience in emergency medicine is preferred

- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills

- Ability to act quickly and remain calm under pressure

- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills

- Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

- CPR and ACLS certification

- Excellent time management and organizational abilities

- Willingness to work in a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays if needed
