Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer treatment to patients with medical emergencies
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and form effective treatment plans
• Perform necessary life-saving procedures and interventions
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and specialists to provide coordinated care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in electronic health records
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options

Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency training in Emergency Medicine
• Current board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
• Prior experience in an emergency care setting is highly desirable
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility in working various shifts, including nights and weekends
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated in emergency medicine best practices
