Emergency Medicine- Government Hospital in UAE

As an Emergency Medicine physician, you will play a vital role in delivering immediate and high-quality medical care to patients in emergency situations within a government healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of medical emergencies while adhering to the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and management of patients presenting to the emergency department
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients, administering appropriate medical interventions
• Diagnose various conditions and determine the need for further treatment or hospitalization
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in clinical decision-making
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the patient record
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across various specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in continuing education and training to remain current with emergency medicine practices and protocols

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Experience working in emergency medicine, preferably in a hospital setting
• In-depth knowledge of emergency medical protocols and treatment methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to make quick and effective medical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with the healthcare system in the UAE is a plus
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
