Engineer - Facilities

The Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that MEP installations are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority regulations.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to MEP works.

• Coordinate MEP activities with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

• Prepare MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.

• Supervise site execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and ELV systems.

• Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and safety regulations.

• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.

• Monitor material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory for MEP works.

• Review contractor invoices, variations, and quantity measurements.

• Attend project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.

• Support project close-out activities, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag rectification.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 2 years in interior fit-out projects.
