The Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that MEP installations are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority regulations.
Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to MEP works.
Coordinate MEP activities with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
Prepare MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
Supervise site execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and ELV systems.
Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and safety regulations.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
Monitor material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory for MEP works.
Review contractor invoices, variations, and quantity measurements.
Attend project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.
Support project close-out activities, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag rectification.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 2 years in interior fit-out projects.
