Equity Research Analyst -MENA

Your role

We're looking for a support MENA research analyst to:

• Join and help build our new MENA (Middle East & North Africa) research franchise
• Support the lead analyst in coverage on the consumer and technology sectors
• Contribute to regional thematic research pieces alongside other UBS experts
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
• Help to provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
• Help develop a leading client franchise among local and global investors

Your team

You'll be working in the MENA equity research team in Dubai focusing on supporting coverage of several consumer and technology MENA stocks. We provide investment insights into important and growing regional corporates, and opportunities to market our view to local and global investors. This benefits our Global Markets franchise as well as our bank more broadly. As a supporting analyst in a new and dynamic team, you'll play an important role in building UBS's presence in this important and high growth region.

Your expertise

• Have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
• Adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
• Inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
• Knowledge of the region and/or corporates would be a desirable but not critical benefit
• Fluency in Arabic language would be a desirable but not critical benefit
