Job Summary

The Field Supervisor oversees the execution of fieldwork for market research studies. They execute qualitative and quantitative research by recruiting, training, and managing field staff. They also follow quality control procedures, provide regular updates to clients, and ensure the final data is delivered within the agreed timeline and budget

Roles & Responsiblities

• Manage the existing pool of interviewers and mystery shoppers, including monitoring their availability, performance, and deployment, and recruiting new interviewers/shoppers when required to meet project requirements and fieldwork targets.
• Conduct pilot interviews and report the findings, observations, and any
  required adjustments to the Project Manager/Operations Manager. 
• Ensure that field teams, interviewers, and mystery shoppers receive adequate training and fully understand the project objectives, methodology, questionnaire, and fieldwork requirements. 
• Review and inspect all project-related documents to ensure they are current, accurate, and aligned with the approved questionnaire/script and project requirements. 
• Monitor fieldwork activities closely and identify any operational issues,
  obstacles, or challenges encountered during fieldwork, reporting them
  promptly to the Field Manager/Operations Manager. 
• Monitor interviewer and mystery shopper performance, including quality, productivity, adherence to methodology, and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct regular field checks and provide feedback and guidance to
  interviewers and shoppers to ensure the required quality standards are
  maintained. 
• Assist the Field Manager with all quality control and validation processes, including reviewing completed interviews/visits and identifying any quality issues or deviations. 
• Provide regular updates on project progress, fieldwork status, achieved
  targets, challenges, and outstanding requirements to the Field Manager/Operations Manager. 
• Conduct interviews or field visits when required to support the team, address operational challenges, or ensure continuity of fieldwork.
• Prepare and maintain interviewer/shoppers' quota sheets and allocation plans, when required, and follow up on their implementation.
• Ensure that fieldwork is conducted according to the approved methodology, timelines, quotas, and quality standards. 
• Support the Field Manager in achieving project targets within the agreed timelines while maintaining the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Statistics.
  
• At least 2 to 4 years previously working in market research agency
  
• Language: Arabic is Mandatory. Fluency in the English language
  
• Proven experience in market research, data quality control, or a related role.
• Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent knowledge of research methodologies and data collection
  techniques
• Familiarity with data cleaning, validation, and manipulation techniques
